Hi there!I’m sourcing a new laser for my PS5 since it’s not copying the data from discs for new games (I want to play Ghost of Tsushima %#*@ it!) but works fine for games already downloaded (disc for God of War works fine since I downloaded it ages ago) and I’ve encountered two models: the KES-496 and the KES497AAA. Is there a difference I should know between the two models or are they both fine? I got a PS5 like a week after they came out so I probably got a really early unit.
usually. 496 is the laser used by ps4 12xx, and 497 is the laser used by ps5. This is the original match. However, ps5 down can also use 496 PS5 LASER
