Hi fellow fixers,
I have a PS5 here that went through a !&&* of a HDMI repair-attempt from someone watching too much Youtube and never held a soldering iron.
So to make it short, there are components missing around the HDMI….
I not have another board to compare with, so I was hoping this thread could be helpful to identify components that are bound to be blown of by other “attempters”.
I changed the diode with one from a PS4 board. And I also took a 0.1 uF capacitors and put close to the HDMI-port. Since I did not have the 0201 size, I had to put it diagonally.
But if we could identify all these, I will make two new photos with the values, so that the community have it for future reference.
