Hello everyone! I was lucky to be able to get a PS5 quite early on, but i am still kind of worried about the future of my PS5, I have read a few articles about the PS5 disc drive and it being locked into the software of the motherboard, is there a way around this? maybe in the future, if something goes wrong, being able to replace it? thankyou all!
Some maintenance staff feedback that they are not bound.
I don’t believe the drive will fail anytime soon. I have a PS4 from 2015 and even a PS3 from 2010 and it still works.
