Hi everyone, I need your help to diagnose my PS4 problem. I can’t turn it on, dispite the blue light being on. Neither the touch power button, nor the Dualshock is working to turn it on.
When i unplug the power cable, the blue light turns off, and when i plug it back, the blue light comes back and the PS4 beeps 3 times, but nothing on the screen, i can’t get it turned on or remove my bluray. I first thought about the power bloc, but considering the light and the beeps, can it still be that or does it comes from something else ?
So console being stuck at blue flashing light with no display indicates in most cases an overheated console. This can be fixed in numerous ways, using the washer trick (pushes the main processor chip against the board, not a good fix but does the job) or the proper way to reflow the main processor chip with a reflowing machine. Is it outputting any display on the screen like the sony logo? Is it always stuck on blue flashing light after a minute? Have you tried booting the PS4 without a hard drive inserted? It should auto-reboot itself into safe mode.
I’m experiencing this issue as well. Console beeps 3 times when plugged in and maintains a solid blue light. The buttons are completely unresponsive which means there’s no possibility of booting in safe mode. The console also strangely lights up as soon as it’s plugged in.
