Hello. I’m new here. I just signed up to ask for help.
So i have this original PS4 for like 4 years now, it’s a CUH-1216A. It has been dropped and when i try to turn it on, it turns on, the fan spins for a split second, but after 5 seconds it turns off. I tried to add washers, it didn’t work. Also i’d like to mention that i’ve searched everywhere about this issue (google, youtube, reddit) and it seems like i’m the only one. Is there anything i can try? Thanks.
@tcec …not exactly sure of what you tried yet other than the washers ( would have not done this before exhausting other options) you can try to boot the system in safe mode and see if the device stays on. you can try to remove the hard drive and power on the system to see if it stays on. is there any light indicator on the system? red, blue, white, yellow?
