Hello, I recently got a PS4 from a friend. He told me that the ps4 did turn on anymore. I purchased a replacement power supply for it, but still no luck. Is there anything else that can be causing it not to turn on?
Motherboard failure is what happened. You cannot replace singular parts in a console so even if it was more specific it would be impossible or very rare to be able to fix it. https://www.ebay.com/i/323455653022?chn=… You may be able to get it cheaper but thats what would be needed. But you may keep trying to fix it, never know. Dust it out more, clean it fully, and after that there isn’t much else you can do but that. The motherboard replacement is kinda expensive but its still much cheaper than buying one working if it was free plus that.
