If my PS4 Slim was a PC I’d say I needed a new LAN card. Is there such a thing on the PS4 or is it built in to the motherboard? If so and it can be replace how much does the part cost?

Hi! Both are glitched as, not working at all? And to answer your question: Yes it’s soldered on the motherboard. You can replace it if you know how to micro-solder. Otherwise you need to bring it to a local repair shop. I don’t think the part is expensive, but the work that needs to be done to replace it will cost more.

The wired LAN card is built into the southbridge chip, the wifi chip is separate. Are you sure if it is a hardware problem in the first place? Can’t tell from your vague description.
