Hello, i was having problems with my ps4 overheating so I decided to give it a good cleaning. But now as soon as I turn a game i encounter a blue screen that says the system is hot and it immediately shuts itself off. Can anyone help me fix this?
Hi @hyperzm, It sounds like either your system isn’t cooling like it should, or you have a faulty temperature value.I would suggest you start by visiting iFixit’s Playstation 4 device stub, and browse the different guides. A thorough cleaning, making sure there are no blockages and that the fans are as clean as they can be.If problem persists, I’d re-paste the thermal paste and check it again when done. It’s surprising how some new (good quality) thermal paste can help.
