Chosen Solution
Hey i have been using this par for about 6 years now and it has worked flawlessly for me for all these years Suddenly 2 days back I was playing a game in the morning and turned it off then when I came back at night and turned it on it was about 2 minutes into the game and i recieved a message saying your par is too hot and it shuts down This happened 2 times then again for the third time i turned it on then it worked absolutely fine that night Again the same problem happend the next day It randomly overheats and then automatically gets fixed I tried opening up the ps4 but my psu screw is stripped badly so i am not able to open it up I checked the fan and it is working as it should I also reinstalled the entire system software but that did not seem to have solved the problem I even tried turning it on with the top cover off and it being upside down but that did not work too Pls help me on this
could be a build up of dust or dried out thermal paste
