Last week I’ve moved to a new house and that meant having to move my playstation as well. When I arrived at the new house and tried plugging in the playstation again it wouldn’t start anymore. On the first time I try to start it it beeps, a blue light turns on for about a second and then it shuts off again. If I then try it again nothing happens until I take out the power cord from the playstation and plug it back in, when I just take the power cord out of the socket it doesn’t do anything. I think it has something to do with moving it because before it was just fine. I tried using the power cable from my Xbox and TV because they have the same connector but nothing happens with those cables, not even a beep. Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this?

Blue light going on and going off very quickly indicates a power fault. In this case it is usually the power supply as these can get damaged from console being dropped / bumped pretty hard. I recommend getting the power supply re-seated in case of a loose connection. Here is a guide on replacing the power supply: PlayStation 4 Power Supply Replacement If you do decide to replace the power supply yourself note that there are multiple different power supply models, the model no of the PSU is located under the PSU cover.
