Hello, my PS4 Model CUH-1216B only has 2 screws on the back. Can you please explain how to open it. Since a few days it won’t start up again. Starting it, I only get a screen saying “connect the dualshock 4 with a USB-cable and next press the PS-key”, which doesn’t do anything. I got it once in safe mode and tried to reinstall everything, but then it crashed again and now I am stuck! Does anyone has an idea about what could be causing this? Thanks for your support. Bob
If you have already exhausted all the options in safe mode with the full PS4 initialization firmware file downloaded into the USB then it’s going to be a bad hard drive. Software update can fail with error code if the blu-ray drive is not working. As long as you can eject and insert discs into the PS4 the blu-ray drive should still be good.
