Hello All, My PS4 will be turned off and with nobody around you’ll hear it beep from the next room, and it will eject the Disk and sit there running. Even if no disk is in the unit this will randomly happen. I am also starting to see disk read errors stating that I don’t have the correct disk inserted to play a game. Any thoughts on what this requires along the lines of fixing it? Replace the CD/DVD drive? Replace the eject button sensor? Thanks, -George
Is it connected to a surge protector? This will happen if it gets a power surge and powers on. I’ve seen this many times on PS3s as well.
I’m going to buy a surge protector for this plug and see if that helps… Thanks.
