Hi guys! Sorry for my bad english but im italian.
Ok so basically my ps4 took a 50 cm fall (really not that high) And my hdmi stopped working for some reason, here is the photo of the port,
If there is anyway i can fix it without spending money it would be a pleasure.
If it is less than a year it should be covered by warranty. If so contact Sony and tell them it stopped working. You most likely have damaged your HDMI connector but that could be put down to wear rather than impact as long as there is no visible damage to the case.
It may come back to life if you boot into safe mode and perform some system maintenance, maybe the system needs restored, rebuilt etc but I doubt it. Sony should be mice to you if it is in warranty still. Check out these tips and see if they work. https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitio… https://ps4.wonderhowto.com/how-to/ps4-w… https://www.ubreakifix.com/blog/fix-hdmi…
Thanks for the reply, the ps4 is already out of warranty.. So, should i order a new hdmi port or this one is fine? If the port is fine i think im gonna let someone that’s capable of to weld the hdmi port back to the mainboard.
