I replaced the batter and buttons on my DS controller but managed to rip both vibration motors wiring off the mother board. I figured no harm I never liked that feature anyway. But now both the triggers don’t work. I’m guessing it’s related. Same circuit? Anyway to fix that ? Update (08/16/2019) I worked it out myself. The rubber inners weren’t seated properly.now they are and now they work properly.
Good job figuring this out on your own. I discovered the problem to be the rubber intermediary that sits in between the contact on the board and the trigger that was out of position as well. And on occasion, the triggers themselves may not sit right on reassembly. It’s usually a bit difficult to get it all assembled the right way on the first try.
