When using the share function broadcasts don’t seem to work most likely due to the issue my console has with recording video. For some reason the video it records is not the correct length then speedy up and really julky/jumps around a lot, it will skip around and also keeping bits of the recordings that are over the allotted time. When a game is loading it usually records that fine.
This sounds like a software issue more than hardware, specifically a glitch storing the recordings. I would recommend starting the system in Safe mode, then select the option to rebuild the databases. You can find a guide on how to do that here. If that doesn’t work, your only option may be to re-initialize the PS4, or reset the settings back to factory default. Both options can be found on the menu when the system is started in safe mode.
