Chosen Solution
Here’s my Problem: The Optical drive will not accept discs into the machine. They go in about half way and then get stuck. I’ve got my console pulled apart on my table now, and have removed the top(bottom?) part of the optical drive casing, and the rollers are in place, but will not rotate. There seems to be a gear stuck somewhere, but I can’t tell where. Has anybody else had this issue?
Figured it out. For some reason the rollers had been stuck in the pushed down position. After I got it open and pushed them down a little further, and slightly shifted them, they popped back up and haven’t had a problem since!
