Controllet charges but soon as i unplug the wire it dies

Did you end up figuring it out? I have the same issue. Seems like every controller I try to repair has this same issue when I’m done!
Does anyone know if this could be down to an IC Chip on the board. Unfortunately I don’t own anything to attempt a swap currently as I have one with the same issue. Also a novice at soldering and repairs.
