Good morgons Ifixers. Since i found a TV on garbage and manage to repair it with a price of beer through this site, lets try to get help wit mine Ps4. Its a 1216b model, when i triers to put it on it gives no signal, it wont boot on safe mode… i tried another power supply. the HDMI looks like its fine, but unlike the other Ps4 that has HDMI problem…. this one goes on, blinks blue light but AFTER I TRY TO TURN IT OFF, IT TAKES LIKE A WHOLE MINUTE TO POWER OFF. Like its stuck, tried another hard drive too but nothing.What do you think?? is it some part broken on motherboard or is the code corrupted on motherboard? does anyone have a same prob and/or solution to this or do i just give it as a paper weight to someone? thank u merry much allready for community of ifixit Update (03/11/2022)
i dont know did mine answer came here?? so, i dids a more thorough surge on this, and i finds it that there be a missing component that might give this problema… you gots to press the picture so you see the arrow, but can anyone give the values of that component? i guess its a resistor thanks allready Update (03/14/2022) Come on, someone help here so i can go to electricstore, i have another repair half done so ican go on….
keep it out of the case, connect the power supply and press on the apu when you turn it on, if it starts to pulse the blue light then its an apu issue
