Hi, I’ve seen one answer posted for a broken eject button which was to just strip down the console and see if the spring is broken. However, from all the tear downs I’ve seen, none of them explain what parts control the spring mechanism that opens the tray. Please can anyone help. Thanks, Sam
I have put up a YouTube video showing how I fixed my super slim eject button I’ll put a link into description… The tension Spring needs to be wound back while the tray door is open and then clicked under the gearing system…it’s quite hard to do because it keeps springing out! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4huekzJG5… hope this helps.
Even I have this problem but, I didn’t consider fixing it because I am okay with manual opening and closing.
