Many people said to me yes but somebody said no!!!! Please answer my question. I calling sony and they said to me you should buy a power converter!!! Is the ps3 super slim dual voltage? Why sony said to me you buy a power converter?????? thank you for your helping

Amir hossein Ahmadi,“In a similar fashion to the PS3 Slim, the power supply is designed for inputs ranging from 100V to 240V AC, making it usable across the globe.” you will not need a converter. from here It is a universal power supply. All you need is a power cord the fits the German outlet. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hey guys, I’m originally from Russia, bought my Slim PS3 (last gen) in US. It said 120v,1.5A 60Hz on the sticker. Had the same question - if it will work with 220V or not. Asked a friend who know a lot about electricity and he said it will. Fingers crossed, I’ve plugged my console in 220V and it works fine with me here, in Russia. So YES - the consoles that are purchased in US and has 120v sticker on them actually works fine with 220v.

on the back there will be a label with the voltage, if it says 120VAC then you will need a converter, if it says 120 - 220V then it will be fine from what sony said looks like your going to need a converter
