recently my ps3 has been saying it doesn’t recognize the usb of controllers I’ve already connected to the console itself, and when I try to turn on the wireless controller, the console freezes up and I have to continually turn it off and back on. even when I try to charge a controller that’s already connected, it says “usb not recognized” and freezes up again. idk what the problem is or what to do, any google search gives me results for trying to connect a ps3 controller to a pc which is definitely not what i’m trying to do. need help please :/
Hello! Have you tried using another USB cable? Yours could have been damaged or something. Also, does the console at least charge the controllers in question? What happens if you try plugging in a USB memory stick? does it get recognized (try creating a folder called Pictures and add some images in there then try to access it from the XMB).
