I completed this repair with relative ease. The glass completely shattered on me while using the suction cup. I was able to change out the digitizer for a new one, however, the iPad now just locks out and goes blank and the locking button no longer works. This is after 1 day of full functionality. Any thoughts?
Hi, here is a good fix for you. With the iPad Air 2, the is a sleep/wake sensor that needs to be removed from the old screen and transferred over to the new sceeen. This job requires soldering. Once you transfer over this sensor, this will fix your issue. The sensor is located just to the left of the home button.
