Chosen Solution
So i changed lcd on one iphone 6 plus first time i see this problem as well never seen it before. When the phone lay still for about 5 min i can not get it to respond by pressing the home button , if i instead press the power button then it works and i can use the home button again , after that i put it on the table for 5 min and same thing happens again, it feels like if i am active using the phone it works but if i dont touch it this will happen. Any suggestion ? me personally dont mind this problem but i bet my customers do Regards H
Touch ID is linked to the original home button. Once you use any other home button there is no touchID. Sounds like a faulty home button to me if its not functioning properly.
