Good morning everyone! My problem concerns the power of the MacBook Pro. Suddenly there was a power problem between the MagSafe as I can no longer recharge the battery. In addition, the power supply LED continues to flash at a rate of 2 seconds on and 2 seconds off (green only) while the battery LED makes 5 fast flashes and then goes off for a couple of seconds. Can it be a battery problem? (which, however, had appeared to me a couple of weeks ago as a note but disappeared after a restart). I have already tried to reset the SMC, to disconnect the battery checker and to try to start it without battery but nothing changes. In your opinion, is it more a battery or power supply problem? I have no other MagSafe power supplies to test with. Thanks for the help.

Well, the good news is the onboard battery checker and the MagSafe charger are telling you your battery is no longer workable the Flashing LED’s is the alarm! You can also verify it by looking at the battery menu pull down which also tells you asl well. To add to this you could install this gem of an app CoconutBattery which will also support this as well.
