I have a MacBook computer and an hp deskjet f4480 printer. My issue is that when I print some sort of template, example would be my W-2 form, with text typed in, all that prints is the template, none of the typed text. Why is this? What can I do to fix it? Obviously the printer is not reading the typed in information.
Printers print the information that is sent to it, printers do not have much processing capabilities. The problem is more likely to be in the settings of the print job or the page layout. What applications are you using to print? Can you do a print preview to see if the typed text is being added to the print job?
