Printer goes through the motions mechanically, but will not pick up paper and print.
Hi this is a common problem for all-paper printers. First remove all parts of paper that you can see. Normally you need to replace the paper-pickup roller. But cleaning this roller is the same. Remove the paper-pickup roller (if possible). The clean the rubber with cleaning vinegar or normal kitchen vinegar. The best is cleaning vinegar. Clean the rubber, so when it is dry it is “raw” again. Try it on normal sheet of paper, try to “push” the paper with a turning movement. Ralf. r_nederveen@hotmail.com
