Hi I’ve just done an iPhone 7 screen replacement for the first time for my buddy and all went well it seems to be all functional but the only issue I have is a pressure mark on the right side of the display about half way Up as seen in pictures any tips or advice on why this may be happening?
It’s the touch IC on the display flex cable that isn’t seated properly inside of the phone.
Update (02/10/2020) Same picture but i added some arrows for guidance, this IC has to be seated well onto that spot. if it’s not installed properly you will end up with pressure marks on the LCD.
