My PowerShot takes forever to save pictures, are there any ways to speed this up?

Try updating your memory card. Speed Class designates minimum writing performance to record video and pictures. The speed classes defined by the SD Association are Class 2, 4, 6 and 10. If you are using a class 2 it is only good for standard video recording and lower resolution pictures. Instead try using a class 6 or 10. These cards are capable of recording full HD video and HD still image continuous shooting, both of which your camera can do.
