Chosen Solution
So I was gonna change thermal paste and clean out the fans, but doing so I accidentally ripped off the PSU connector from the motherboard. I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn’t find any threads where the connector looks like mine. So my question is: can I fix it? If so how?
Hi Johannes, You need to re-solder the connector to the board. It looks like that the bottom left pin actually ripped the pad off as well, so you need to scrape the green solder mask to reveal copper and then solder the pin back. Make sure you disconnect the cable first when you are doing it, so ther is no pressure on the conncetor. Hope it helps!
