Partial function with the power/sleep button. When I hold the button down long enough to turn off the phone it turns off just as it’s supposed to. But when I press it to put the phone to sleep it rarely works and the phone stays awake. Am I likely going to need a new cable assembly? Thanks,
Have you recently disconnected the battery to do some other repair? A 5s power button will behave like this if the phone has lost it’s correct date/time after battery disconnect.
