I have a samsung tv UE23ES5420WXXC with the power light flashing no picture no sound. Ive checked the power supply by disconnecting main board and the lcd lights up white. With the power board connected to the main board I get two voltage readings incorrect pin 11and 13 should be 85 volts i get 5.2 volts.

Changed the 100uf 450 volt capacitor and made no difference, it first started when watching the tv. The sound dropped out after turning off and on the tv we had tbe flashing red light black screen no sound issue.
Testing the power board without the connection to the main board can be misleading. It looks like the power board has some issues, but without a better picture and more measurements, I can’t tell at the moment. Please update this with a clear picture of each board and indicate where the voltage measurements were taken. Thanks, Dan
@applemacman since you are getting the backlight to turn on when you disconnect the main board but nothing shows up after (as well as a weird reading of the voltage) I would change the main board. You do want to post some images of your boards with your question. that way we can see waht you see wand can check where you measured the voltgaes etc. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that
