Chosen Solution
I recently got a Sunsui HDLCD4650 tv at a yard sale (For free) and I can’t figure out how to get it up and running. When plugged in, the standby red light comes on, and when when the power button is pressed, it turns green, But thats all it does. I tried connecting devices like my nintendo switch to all 3 of its HDMI ports, and I get nothing. The green light will stay on though. Please help. I really need this to work, as I cannot use HDMI devices without it(I haven’t really used my switch other then a portable console because of that)
@edugan97 sounds like a power board issue. You do want to go ahead and unplug your set. Remove the back cover and take a look at the power board. Check for any obvious damage like leaking, bulged or domed capacitor. If not quite sure what to look for post some pictures of your boards with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. you also want to check other input sources that are not HDMI devices just in case the HDMI IC’s are giving you issues. Try a DVD or regular cable and see what you get. Update (08/31/2017) @edugan97 looks like a burned out transformer. In that case a replacement board would be the best way to fix it.
