Hello people, after my partner updated her 5s to iOS11 the device now power cycles after a few minutes. Obviously the first step here could be restoring the device but sadly she updated her phone without backing up…………. The one major caveat I have is that the device has a third party (ifixit) battery. I know from previous iOS release that sometimes devices with third party hardware run into firmware issues. interesting enough it appears that once the device begins to run a back it restarts, granted it doesn’t stay on very long in the first place. Is anyone else having this same issue?
5sRepairs iOS 11 apparently caused a few issues. Yours might be related (due to the 3rd party battery?) to it. Check this site by our contributor @refectio on how to use 3uTools to restore your device to iOS 10.3.3.Let us know if this helped.
