Moving from US to New Zealand this summer and am taking a new PS4 Slim with me. Have seen posts several years old stating that Sony constructed the PS4 to handle 110V (US) up to 220V (NZ) but that they don’t advertise it. Figured I’d reach out to see if anyone can confirm this is still accurate. I’ve got the appropriate plug adapter but wanted to check to see if a converter is required. Thanks in advance!
The PS4 Slim PSU modules are rated 110-240V. I can confirm with visually inspecting the printed rating on the PSU housing. Externally it says 220V-240V which I’m not sure why. I’ll need someone else here to confirm whether the PS4 slims are universally compatible 120-240v.
