Hi, my girls phone recently started doing this weird thing where it appears that the power button is being pressed down even though the button isn’t being press or stuck in the pressed position. I order a replacement part, the daughter board that has the power button on it and after I did it appeared to be working correctly. Then about a day or so later the power button stopped working all together. Not sure what the issue might be other than a bad part but I find it strange that it was working and then just went out all together.
Get cocoa butter or like kind of a grease on your fingers and attempt to access apps and do regular things on your phone and it’ll stop it’ll do it every now and then but rarely. Also there’s the power off apps if that doesn’t work
The only prob here is just the replacement but i advice u to send to some phone service

Here I will tell you about the only two methods, excluding the obvious other one – having it repaired: turning your phone on and off with the help of apps and a neat little piece of hardware to help you do the same.
