I have a MacBook Pro 13” Retina Early 2015 that had some damage to the keyboard and the backlight. There were certain keys at the time that weren’t working. Just yesterday I replaced the keyboard and the backlight, and all of the keys appeared to be working. I noticed that bluetooth was having issues, not showing up in the System Preferences and saying Not Available. I shut down the system from the apple menu to reset the SMC, but it was not working. Then I was unable to turn it back on with the power button. I have to remove the battery connection and then plug it in to power to get it to turn on. Also, when it is powered on, the power button still will not work. I removed the trackpad cable and tried to power the system on, as I read that could work, but it did not. I am at a loss now. What are some other things I can check or try to make the power button work?
