Had the same problem before i noticed the small cable that needs to be soldered onto the new screen. It has 6 connection points, and after transferring and soldering the cable, the on/off button worked perfectly.
Sounds like there is a possibility the cable for the sleep/wake button is not connected properly. Could you please send me the model number? Thanks!
Hello. Thanks for responding. I honsetly still have the same problem even though i cover the sensor after transfering it from the old digitilizer the model of the ipad is A1550
a flex cable in the old screen beside home button in left side :) make sure you but it in new screen :) that.s it :)
