Chosen Solution
Hello all, I have had to do some work on my phone. I have replaced the screen once and am about to do it again (I’ve been replacing them for myself/friends/family literally since the first iPhone) . I have experience. I also had to mess with the face ID module because I was having boot cycle issues which I figured out. Since I’ve done this so many times I tend to be haphazard with repairing my own phone. Initially I had a boot cycle loop issue so I worked out how to fix that and for awhile left the face ID module removed from the phone to allow my phone to boot. I also left the bracket off. I was having GPS/bluetooth/wifi issues so I put everything back in its rightful place until I get my new screen. I ended up making sure everything was tightened and that helped my wifi issue but now my bluetooth sucks. it pairs but if I paue the music for more than 7 seconds it unpairs. airPod pros dont automatically sync with my iphone (after forgetting them on iphone and resetting the airpods to factory settings ) . GPS is unusable. if i close out of google maps and open it again occasionally it will be the right ish location in the range of about 1000 feet. what could affect bluetooth and GPS like this? a solution would be nice, but even just a point in the right direction, like what part, element, connection, cable, frame grounding piece or antenna could be affecting both things? I already made sure that gold/brass things on the face ID module in the corner is on and in the correct position in step 21 in this link iPhone X Earpiece Speaker and Front Sensor Assembly Replacement please help!!
The bluetooth antenna is located on the bottom of the phone above the charging port.
you can pick up a good from any quality parts supplier. Make sure you connections are clean and connected tightly. Check all of your connections to the motherboard and clean them with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush.
