Hello just wondering if anyone can help I’m unsure if this is damage from damp in the conservatory or another issue with the screen? Any help advice greatly appreciated 😃
@melanieg it does look like issues with the LCD driver boards. Those are the boards that are on the bottom of the LCD panel and are connected with very thin ribbon cables. Those can corrode and lose contact. You can take your TV apart right down to the panel, check those ribbon cables and the boards. Check for corrosion and grey/blue appearing contact. Push gently with your finger on where they connect and see if that changes the those lines. Ultimately why this happened, we really wouldn’t know. Could it be from cleaning with moist cloth? Sure it could, but it can happen other ways as well.
