Hey iFixit, I made an idiot mistake. I was removing the CPU heatsink on this IdeaPad 11S, and while removing it I popped a small chip off the board, the name of the chip escapes me right now, but I need a way to get it back on, only one solder point is disconnected. Any help is appreciated.

That’s easy just get a soldering iron, some flux and solder. Touch the soldering iron the the part that is still on the board, push it down with tweezers and then solder the otherside. Cover the component with a good flux before doing this. Once it’s soldered clean the flux up.

look slike you have enough solder left on the pad to resolder it. Post some pictures showing the complete board and location of the component with that. Also, any markings on the board? We’ll need those to see if there is a boardview/schematic available.
