Chosen Solution
I easily replaced the battery, but found when I powered up that the screen was very dark and the solors are not quite right. I redid the work and installed a second battery with the same reults.Otherwise the phone works fine and holds a charge. It is impossible to see pictures clearly and the colors are distorted. Suggestions? John
Getting a bit ahead of yourself there donley. Jess this just sounds like you have damaged the lcd when removing or reattaching Make sure all connections are seeded 100% if they are them you most likly just need a new screen
Did you power off the phone and make sure you were esd safe? You might have blown the ic chip for the backlight. This could either require micro soldering on the logic board however I would try a new screen first!
