Hi, I accidentally poked the top mic of my HTCU11 with the Sim Ejector tool. It went in quite deeply. Did I do any damage to the mic or waterproofing? I know that for some ones the mics and waterproofing are placed at angle to prevent this kind of damage by the user. Does the HTC U11 have this kind of design too? Any advice from someone who has actually opened a HTC U11 would be appreciated. Thanks!
No, the microphone inside the hole is inside the phone on the side. If you poke the hole, nothing will touch the SIM tool
