i am trying to fix a 2010 unibody that has been having battery issues for quite a while now, even after replacing the battery the factory battery had completely stopped working (lost power as soon as it is unplugged) so i got a new battery off amazon and replaced that. it worked great for the moment, but within a few days it started doing the exact same thing as before (losing power the moment it is unplugged, as if there is no battery in it at all) not sure if it matters, but during the battery replacement i also went ahead and put in a SSD and more RAM. machine works great besides the battery issue.. any advice on how to identify the problem, test the charge circuit, etc, would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advace

Cupcake Johnston I’d start by checking the current sensing resistors near U7000 ISL6259 and the traces between them and the U7000 ISL6259. If you post an image of your logicboard we could point those out for you. Use this guide for that. Otherwise you need to scrounge the internet for what I assume is a 820-2879 logicboard schematic. Check yours just to make sure. You did of course check your MagSafe power adapter to make sure that it us ok as well.
