Well,i had the noise problem with my ps4 and tried to clean it,i sar the tutorial, so when i remove the motherboard i saw what was wrong, the heatsink had a layer of dust and hair, but i also noticed that the thermopaste and the thermo pad were dry, well when i assembly it back and i conected it, the noise was gone, but the ps4 didnt notice the bluedisc (that is because the tutorial that i checked, did a mistake to how remove the flex cable, but he corrected in the description, so i screw the cable) but when i open the a game, the fan goes crazy, it overheat and shutdown after 5 second, so do i need to replace the thermopasta and the thermopads or is something else? Thanks
It’s hard to say what’s wrong with it, but you probably should’ve replaced the thermal paste when you had it apart. By the sounds of it, whatever flex cable you damaged should’ve been replaced as well.
