When returning home I turned on my PlayStation and I heard a noise that i didn’t hear before I think it has something to do with the fan it isn’t making loud fan noises or a grinding noise its something else. On rest mode the sound is still there.
I’d be willing to bet almost anything that their’s debris in your cooling fan. This guide will show you how to get to the fan, but I would try blowing it out with compressed air before making any kind of replacement.
