Okay, so I get this Playstation 3 (60 gigabyte) and when I first hook it up and everything, it was working fine until the screen started to get static and started to pixel-ed , then it died. I then turn off the screen, flipped the switch on the back and started it again - the light was green yet nothing was on the screen. I have tried switching HDDs, I held the button three times until it went red, I tried multiple HDMI cords - nothing. The light stays green, it does turn on - but that’s it. Nothing else. The screen is black and it says, “No Signal” - flashing up and down - as if it is a memorial for the machine.
When did you get it did it had the warranty sticker on? It may had problem with YLOD and was repaired before you get it. Also it might be not repaired and just fail. This no video and green light may be also like YLOD with the fix being to replace the capacitors down side of CPU and GPU
