Chosen Solution
We have a first generation PS3 with backwards capability. It just started not reading or delaying reading of PS3 games. We can put a PS2 disc in and the drive starts right up. We can put a PS3 game in and the drive may start or it does nothing. Does it need to be cleaned or adjusted? Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David
im sure a good cleaning would do the trick…and while you have the ps3 open you may want to take that chance to clean all the dust out of it so you dont get that pesky ylod…to clean just use a q-tip and some rubbing alchol on the lense inside the drive(also take this time to get any dust out of the drive as well)hope you get it back to 100%.
