Hi My plasma tv has developed a strange issue. There is a flickering white-ish/grey-ish (sometimes it can be black) vertical bar (3 or 4 cm thick) on the right hand side of the screen. It shows up when the image is very light or white, and when the image changes to anything darker (darker than white) the bar completely disappears (as shown in the video, when the colour changes to blue) What could this be?
though i am no expert in this but it looks like a cap or resistor on the video processing board has a failed solder point and needs to be reflowed
