My Pixel3 fell down (bed height), now it’s not turning back on again. It looks like a black screen of death. The screen is not cracked, from the outside the phone looks fine. What I already tried: Hold Power Button 30sHold Power Button + Volume down 30s15min chargingStep 1 & 2 againconnect to a PC via USB -> no reactionopened and unplug / replug the battery connectorunplug / replug the display connector No success so far… Could it only be the display? Does the Pixel 3 vibrate when turned on? I tried turning it on but it does not vibrate… Any ideas?
Off the top of my head: Did the screen immediately go black or did it fall during the night and the battery died while you slept? Have you tried wireless charging (in case the battery is dead and the USB assembly is broken?) Back when I attended LAN parties; PC parts come loose when you hit a few bumps along the way during transport. Always one guy that had a non-booting PC. Reseating the RAM, CPU, video card, pulling and re-inserting power connectors always did the trick. Since you’ve had the back off (and wireless charging coil?) maybe try pulling and reseating all of the connectors. Remove the speaker and reseat the charging assembly connector (step 18-22, then 28 here: Google Pixel 3 Display Assembly Replacement) Be careful with those connectors!
