Hello, After a drop the mic suddenly stopped working. There was a small amount of water but as the pixel 2 xl is water resistant and it was not submerged long I don’t believe this is the main issue. It didn’t work for about a day and suddenly started working again. I thought the issue had gone away but it had suddenly come up again. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi @anuna , You may have to open the phone and check if the microphone has been damaged or become loose from the board due to the fall. Here’s a link to the ifixit Google Pixel 2 XL Charging Assembly Replacement guide which should be of some help. The microphone is located on this board.
